Gina Ross Mrs. Waikele

About Gina:

Gina Ross has been a part of the Fitness and Dance industry for over 12 years, and she is the Owner and Operator of the Fit for a Goddess Pole Fitness Studio whose mission is to Empower the Women of Hawaii through Dance and Fitness. Before finding Fit for a Goddess she was a top Advertising Executive for Oahu’s News Print Media. However, her passion for Fitness and Helping Women would soon lead her to spread her wings into entrepreneurship! Joining Fit for a Goddess as a student, she was challenged in such a way in Mind and Body that it sparked a tremendous love for Fitness. She then became a Pole Instructor at the studio, as well as a dance instructor in other formats such as Zumba, Hot Hula and Pilates.

The passion didn’t stop there. To broaden her knowledge of the Body, she become a Certified Personal Trainer so that she could not only work with groups of women, but also one-on-one and support them in pursuit of their own Fitness Goals. She furthered her experience at 24Hr Fitness and BJ Penn’s UFC Gym in Waikele as a Performance Coach and continued to focus on running the Fit for a Goddess studio. Since then, Fit For a Goddess has flourished to include Competition Prep as well as Stage presence training, which lead to her decision to enter a Bodybuilding Figure Competition to become the best possible Coach for the future competitors she was to train.

After managing fit for a Goddess for many years, she decided to purchase the studio in 2014 and left BJ Penn’s UFC Gym in Waikele to focus full time on running the studio. Since then, Fit for a Goddess has flourished as a Women-only studio operating seven days a week with classes from morning to evening, and has an expanded staff of 18 amazing instructors!

On a personal note she has married her true love, Kelii Ross, in August of 2018! He too also caught the entrepreneurial fever as they together started a growing Malama ‘Aina Chem-Dry franchise in February of 2016. Gina Ross is a member of a Women’s Business Networking group, RUSHwahine, and was awarded their Entrepreneur of the Year Award in January of 2017 and featured in a Member Spotlight in February, 2020.
